Here is a quick digital illustration/sketch that I did this weekend about one of my childhood heroes the Italian Stallion!

The Joy of Digital Painting!!!

Ohhh boy, the joy of working digital!
I can really get used to this, you know!!! For real, there's nothing better than having a bunch of ideas for a painting and have the chance to work in those on the same painting, but the results will be different by just turning one of the layers off!! Here's a sample of what I'm talking about! the same guy but two different results!! those are still a work in progress but I just wanted to share with you guys the joy of working digitally!

Bueeeh, la dicha de trabajar digitalmente!
De verdad que me puedo acostumbrar a este tipo de trabajo, de pana!!! Hablando en serio, no hay nada mejor que tener varias ideas para un trabajo y tener la oportunidad de trabajar en ellas, y que el resultado sea diferente por el simple hecho de cerrar una de las capas!! Aqui esta un ejemplo de lo que les estoy hablando! el mismo tipo pero el resultado es distinto!! Estos trabajos todavia estan en proceso pero queria compartir con ustedes la dicha del trabajar en digital!

Finally I've been getting used to the feeling of a board and a pen rather than the usual canvas and brush! this is an illustration that I worked on for a couple of hours during the last weekend, nothing big but I want you guys to take a look at some of the things that I've been working on with my Intuos board!

Finalmente me estoy acostumbrando a la sensacion de la tableta y el lapiz, en vez de lo usual que es el pincel con el lienzo! esta es una ilustracion en la que trabaje por algunas horas durante el pasado fin de semana, nada grande pero queria mostrarle a ustedes lo que he estado haciendo con mi tableta Intuos!

Vamos a Comer

  It's here! "Vamos a Comer" a book that I co-created with my wife as a gift for our son. It's not easy to find a good book in spanish in this area so my wife and I decided to make a book for him! "Vamos a Comer" (Let's go Eat) it's a book that teaches our son about table manners, and talks about a typical plate for Venezuelans "The Arepa" is a bilingual book so it's easy for him to understand. The story was written by my wife and I was the one in charge of the illustrations! it was a real challenge for me because it was made in a way that it would be easy for my son to understand and enjoy, totally different from the way I paint or draw!

  Ya esta aqui! "Vamos a Comer", el libro que junto a mi esposa ayude a crear como regalo para nuestro hijo. En estos tiempos no es facil conseguir un libro en espanol por esta area asi que mi esposa y yo decidimos crear un libro para el! "Vamos a Comer" es un libro que va a ensenar a nuestro hijo acerca de modales en la mesa y tambien le ensenara lo que es la "Arepa" para los Venezolanos. Este libro es bilingue asi que sera facil para el entenderlo. La historia fue escrita por mi esposa y yo fui el encargado de realizar las ilustraciones! fue un verdadero reto ya que los trabajos fueron hechos de manera tal que fuera facil para mi hijo entenderlo y disfrutarlo, totalmente distinto a como yo pinto o dibujo!
