Senior Pictures

Hello everyone! it's been a while.
A few weeks ago I was by a friend who wanted me to take some pictures for her daughter, last week we met and decided where and what to do! she told me, "my daughter is very shy, she doesn't like to wear fancy clothes and she is a band geek" she was afraid her pictures weren't going to turn good because she didn't have nice clothing or anything like it but I talked with her and I told her that wasn't going to be a problem! so the only specific thing that she wanted after the conversation was to have her pictures taken with her clarinet. Let me tell you, to be a shy girl she did a great job! it was cold but she was a real trooper!

A day at the lake

Nothing beats the heat better than playing and having fun in the water!!

A couple weeks ago I was spending some quality time with my family at Clear Lake, Iowa, when I spotted a family that was taking pictures of their daughter! She was so adorable, I decided to jump in and shoot them having their photo fun! Here are some of the samples...

5K Race

Last weekend my wife participated in a 5K race for the first time! She LOVES running but never got the guts to participate in a race, officially! She did very good to be this her first "official" race! What I really enjoyed from this race wasn't the place or that my wife finished the race, it was more the ambiance, families together running, people with costumes and themes, even grandparents were walking! In a few words, it was a great day for sports and fitness!!

New Family Member

This past week our family made a big change, we decided to finally adopt a puppy! it took us a long time to make the decision because we weren't sure we were ready to have the responsibility of a pet, but let me tell you, after seeing my son with a big smile and running with "Nacho" as if they were old buddies I realized he was a huge blessing and now we don't know how we did it before!
So here are a few pictures from our puppy Nacho! he's a mix from a Beagle and an American Bulldog and it's known as a Beabull.

I'm back

Hello everyone! I hope your doing great. I've been very busy this last couple of months with work and private commissions that I've been away from any post or any blog adventures. I haven't been able to concentrate in personal work but here are some pictures from my lovely family from a walk in the outdoors we did last week.

Great Afternoon

This past Sunday my family and I went to the local library for a test of the greatest desserts made with chocolate! "Chocolate Fantasy" was the name of this fundraiser for the library, but for my surprise it wasn't all the sweet that got my attention! it was a local group of musicians playing a very nice Country music with some Bluegrass Music!! not only the music was amazing, but the instruments they were using was a work of art! It was a fun day full of music and sweetness!!

Este Domingo mi familia y yo fuimos a la libreria local para saborear los mas exquisitos dulces hechos con chocolate! "Fantasia de Chocolate" era el nombre de esta actividad para recaudar fondos para la libreria, pero en realidad los dulces no fueron los que llamaron mi atencion! fueron unos artistas locales que estaban tocando musica tipica, Country y Bluegrass, en una forma muy original! pero no solamente la musica fue entretenida, los instrumentos que ellos estaban utilizando de verdad que eran un obra de arte! Fue un dia divertido lleno de musica y dulces!!
